US, China cybersecurity hotline offers no guarantees
isn't promising that it will curtail attacks.
Assistant Attorney General for National Security
What we were seeing was attacks emanating from China day in and day out in
every industry; nuclear, solar, steel, every industry across the gamut. In

was economic espionage. It was stealing trade secrets from US companies in
order to compete against them.
