" Ji Li Huang and Xiao Guang Qi were charged with trying to buy trade
secrets of a Pittsburgh Corning plant in Sedalia for the purpose of opening
a competing plant in China, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's
Office for the Western District of Missouri.
After having a request to tour the Sedalia FOAMGLAS plant denied, he met
with a plant employee and later trespassed at the plant to allegedly record
video or photos on a cell phone.
On July 22, an ad in a Sedalia-area newspaper sought "technical talent" with

A collection of articles and links showing how America and American companies need to stop doing business with, or trusting, China with just about anything. That country, especially with its Communist government, is willing to do anything to steal government and corporate info to further their own goals. They do not live by the historical western values of Europe or the United States.

The Company Man: Protecting America’s Secrets (a short movie)
See the Movie
Having recently seen this video, I was amazed - at the lack of security at
some American companies, and the audacity of the people looking to steal
their info:
Economic espionage is a problem that costs the American economy billions of
dollars annually and puts our national security at risk.
To raise awareness of the issue, the FBI and the National
Counterintelligence and Security Center have launched a nationwide campaign
and released a short film aimed at educating anyone with a trade secret
about the threat and how they can help mitigate it. Based on an actual case,
The Company Man: Protecting America's Secrets illustrates how one U.S.
company was targeted by foreign actors and how that company worked with the
FBI to resolve the problem and bring the perpetrators to justice.

U.S. Man Sentenced to Prison After Spying for Chinese Girlfriend
This is an example of something that is happening all the time, and
increasing in scale and scope of information sought for.
"She was a graduate student in her 20's from China. On Wednesday, he was
sentenced to more than seven years in prison for giving her classified
defense information.
Benjamin Pierce Bishop, federal prosecutors said, e-mailed government
secrets to "a 27-year-old Chinese woman with whom he had a romantic
relationship." The material he passed along included details of U.S. defense
planning in South Korea and elsewhere in the Pacific."
